On Executive Mandark’s reference sheet, it says “Age 24?” and Dexter’s older self (Number 12) is credited as D22, assumed to be Dexter’s age at the time, which makes Mandark 2 years older than Dexter. This is referenced from the Ego Trip concept art (unlockable in the Dexter’s Lab PSX Game). Mandark might be 2 years older than Dexter. We might as well call him a super genious. Since the magazine was intended for her in the show it makes more sense) Dexter is a young boy by the age of seven or six with an extremely high IQ. Since Dee Dee is in 6th grade and reads “eleventeen magazine” we’re going to just assume she’s 11 (even though you don’t HAVE to be 11 to read a specific magazine like that but… It just feels like a big lead. The architecture of the characters are well built and designed. Johnny Test has a little bit more shape definition with sharper corners. The Characters dont share the same physical characteristics, but the line, shape and color qualities do. It would be possible that Dexter skipped a grade or so, but since in a later episode they are talking about moving him up, it seems like it had never happened before. The visual style and plot of Johnny Test is somewhat similar to Dexters Lab. In the episode “Picture Day” Dexter is in 4th grade and is two grades below Dee Dee, which might make him 2 years younger than Dee Dee. The Dexter’s Lab Wikia is constantly being edited by anons without any sources at all so we’re not trusting it as a source.
